Our story
Thandeka Ngcobo opened the boutique in 2019 with a simple rule: the fabric has to be real Java print, and the fit has to be personal. Every rail starts as a bolt of print chosen by Thandeka, then cut and sewn by three seamstresses in Umlazi.
Runs are small on purpose. When a size sells out, it's gone — so customers know exactly where their money goes: local hands, honest fabric, and a dress that fits before it leaves the shop.

Matric dance season runs July to November. Book early — December is packed with weddings and year-end functions.

On Florida Road since 2019, we dress Durban in African print and locally made streetwear. Open Tuesday to Saturday, and busiest in December and matric dance season. Most pieces are sewn in small batches, so once a size is gone, it is gone.
Every bolt is sourced from trusted mills. No copies, no faded knock-offs — just thick, vibrant fabric that holds its colour.
Three seamstresses cut each run by hand, so sizes stay honest and every piece carries a maker's signature.
